How We Celebrated Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary
27 June, 2009, 4:11 pm
Last June 23, 2009, as I’ve mentioned in my previous post, it was our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. So how did we celebrate it? Very simple, yet memorable. At least, from my interpretation of Aileen’s reaction afterward. Here it is.
It was almost 3pm when we left home heading to SM Pampanga (that’s the farthest we can go since its coding day). As much as we want to bring Jacob with us, we opt not to as watching movie was part of the agenda. We’re not sure if Jacob can withstand 2hours inside the cinema without going berserk, hehe.
We arrived almost 4pm, if I’m not mistaken. We immediately bought pizza, fries and float then headed to the cinema house. As we checked the list of movies, Terminator is the only candidate for both of us. I then went to the booth to buy tickets. However, the last full show of Terminator for that day was 3pm. And at 5pm, it will be replaced by Transformers 2.
It would have been a blessing in disguise thinking that we can be one of the first viewers of Transformers 2. But checking on my watch, its as if impossible for us to do the other things we have in mind. So without any clue what’s going to happen next, we simply skipped the movie. And guess what, we just stayed at the food court for a while to eat everything that we bought earlier.

Next target was Body Massage. I’m not even sure if there was a Massage Clinic in SM Pampanga. We tried our luck and whoala, it is located in the farthest wing. We almost strolled the whole SM finding that shop.
At first, I thought foot massage would be good for us both. But Aileen opted for Foot Spa. It lasted for almost an hour. I even fell asleep, with that Thai Foot Massage. By 7pm, we were on our way out of the mall. And guess what, Aileen agreed for a road trip going to Subic and have dinner.
Even though it would be my first time going to Subic driving, were both excited to try our fate. The plan was to have dinner at Meat Plus. Where’s the exact location of Meat Plus, we both don’t know, hehe.
Upon reaching Dinalupihan, we went straight to SCTEX. And boy, we reached Subic in less than 30mins. Well, almost. Did we get lost looking for Meat Plus? No, we didn’t. It’s as if we actually know where it is.

Grilled Pork Ribs
I ordered Beef Tenderloin and she got Grilled Pork Ribs. But at the end, it was me who had her grilled pork ribs, and her eating my beef tenderloin. I also got the soup for the day which is Clam chowder – I didn’t like it. Aileen’s vegetable soup is even better.
We could’ve explored more of what Subic has to offer, but time is not on our side during that time. For sure Jacob is already asleep waiting for us. She even have to wake up early the next morning. By almost 10pm, we’re home already.
So that’s how we spent our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Hope she enjoyed it as much as I did. And hopefully next time, we can spend our 3rd year on an even more adventurous place like Boracay or even abroad.
